There are 2 indoor and 2 outdoor training sessions a week with additional fitness expected of first team players and for anyone else who's keen! Sessions are lead by our club captain and team captains, with help from other experienced players. Don't feel you have to come to everything but the more you play, the faster you'll improve and the better we'll gel as a team leading up to tournaments. Locations are on the map below.
Mid-week training for everyone on grass. Wednesday is our only weekly session with proper outdoor conditions (playing on muddy, frozen or baked ground) so bring your boots and get used to it before outdoors!
This session is intense fitness for the first half and then games of ultimate for the second.
This session is aimed at beginners and lead by a few experienced players to make sure everyone learns the basics and tactics.
Outdoor training for all on an artificial surface (rubber pellets). Blades or astro-boots are recommended but regular trainers are usually fine.
Training will usually include a warmup, drills and games to finish. Keep an eye on emails and the Facebook group for additional sessions and last minute changes due to weather, etc. There will be extra fitness sessions during the year for those who want, so have a look on the Facebook group.
